Design
The process starts with creating a structural and visual blueprint for the paper cup.
Printing
Once the design is finalized, the graphics are printed onto food-grade paper using offset printing machines.
Drying
After printing, the sheets are fed through a drying tunnel or hot air system to cure the ink and remove moisture.
Laminating
To make the cups leak-proof and suitable for holding hot or cold liquids, a thin plastic (PE) or bioplastic (PLA) film is laminated onto the printed paper.
Cutting
The laminated paper rolls are passed through die-cutting machines that punch out the cup body (sidewall) and base (bottom disc).
Forming
In automated cup-forming machines, the sidewall and bottom disc are wrapped, sealed, and joined using heat, ultrasonic welding, or pressure bonding.
